One more to go

Bianca, Xzotika's Whip My Hair wins BOW under judge Jim Briley at the Belleville Kennel Club Show held at the Purina Farms Event Center.  Bianca needs one more point to complete her CH title.  We are very excited and can't wait to get her entered at her next show.

The first points of the year go to

Miss Bianca, Xzotika's Whip My Hair. wins BOW/BOS over specials at the Mardi Gras cluster under respected judge Mr. Dana Cline. Bianca now has 13 points with 3 major wins.

Dallas Specialty 2015 dogs

Kole, Xzotika's Shayded Diamond won WD for his first major under breeder judge Steve Kelly.  Mr. Kelly also awarded our Special GCH Xzotika's Smooth Kriminal a grand champion select major in tough specialty competition.  Buster also won an award of merit under judge Mrs. Gretchen Bernardi.

Dallas Specialty 2015 bitches

We had  fantastic results at the Dallas Specialty this year.  Esteemed judge Mrs. Gretchen Bernardi awarded our Queen B, Bianca her first major towards her CH title along with Best bred by Exhibitor. Bianca is 8 months old and this is only her 3rd showing.  We are thrilled with how well she has started out her show career.  So far she has won 2 of the 3 shows she has been entered in.  We are looking forward to what the future holds for our sassy little princess.

Xzotika's Titanium

3 puppies from our current litter went on an outing to the Belle City Kennel Clubs annual puppy match.  Needless to say we are very happy with how they all performed.  Maya, Lukas and Titan attended the match.  Maya was too busy being nosey to actually care about showing.  She was trying to be in every lap that would have her.  She enjoyed being out in the public.  Our judge thought she was very cute and hopes that one day Maya will learn to keep all of her feet in one place for longer than a second.  Lukas was a little unsure about the whole thing at first but after about 15 minutes he was ready to rock.  Titan on the other hand walked into the building like he owned the place.  He definitely carried himself like the king of dogs and we were immediately impressed.  We are very lucky to have a puppy like Titan.  Titan went on to compete that day for best in match but was edged out by the cute litter Australian shepherd.  We are looking forward to what the future holds for Mr. Titan and crew.  Stay tuned.........

New CH

Xzotika's Southern Tigress @ Zmaray completed her CH title today at the competitive FL circuit under judge Jeffrey  Pepper.  Alexis completes her title with 3 major wins, an all breed group 2 placement, 6 Specialty Best in Sweeps and a placement at the 2012 Afghan Hound National all before the age of two.  Congratulations to her owner Ray Sylvia and Brad Butka.  Also congrats to her co-breeder Ms. Carol Ness of Sahiba Afghans.  We are looking forward to Alexis future as a special.

Kinjii wins again

Kinjii, Jakar Battle Royale Xzotika wins BOW again at the Talmadge, OH shows under respected afghan judge Ms Elizabeth Muthard.  Congrats again to all involved in this dogs success.  We are looking forward to seeing what Kinjii has in store for us this year.

Blondie's grandson brings in the New Year

Blondie's grandson. Kinjii, Jakar Battle Royale Xzotika is off to a great start by winning BOW under judge Mr. Jon Cole at the Talmadge,OH shows.  A huge congratulations and thanks to his mommy Amy Wright McCrary.  Good luck to you the rest of this weekend.

Speed Demon

Buster, Xzotika's Smooth Kriminal had a successful outing this weekend at his first ASFA Lure Coursing event.  Buster scored over 300 points total ending up in first place out of 8 dogs that competed in his division.  We are looking forward to Buster participating in more coursing events in the future.  Hopefully he will be our first coursing ch.

Miss Alexis does it again winning her 2nd major during the Sand N Sea Specialty weekend Xtravaganza.  Alexis wins BOW in tough specialty competition. Sincere thanks to judge Molly Martin.  Alexis now needs 3 more points to finish her CH title.  Congratulations to her partners in crime, Ray&Brad of Zmaray Afghan Hounds. 

5pt major Specialty Win

Ms. Alexis wins BOW for a 5pt major at the Sand and Sea Specialty Show in Brooksville, FL.  Alexis was examined by breeder judge Mr. Thomas Kirstein of the Ripshin prefix.  Mr. Kirstein's pedigree's were comprised primarily of Coastwind via Kassan's The Impressario, Applause, Shikari and Mecca.  All of which are behind our dogs here at Xzotika.  It is very impressive that he could find our little gem all of these many generations later.  A huge thanks to her handler Mallisa Brown and her proud papa Ray Sylvia.

4pt major GCH Select for Raven

Raven, Xzotika's Nevermore wins Select dog for a 4pt major with ch's defeated under judge Ann Katona at the Springfield, IL shows this past weekend.  It was Raven's first weekend out as a special and we were very pleased with his performance.  A little training and Raven will be ready to rock

Bada Boom! New CH

Our Buster, Xzotika's Smooth Kriminal is now an AM CH.  Buster finished his title this past weekend under celebrity judge Mrs. Pat Trotter by winning a 4 point major.  Buster completes his title with 4 BOB, 3 majors and 2 Specialty best bred by exhibit.  Buster has received a plethora of accolades from the judges that had the pleasure of being in the presence of this majestic desert hound.  Congratulations to his owners Patty and Gary Krosch. Without their help none of this would have been possible.  Buster will now begin working on some obedience work until he comes back out as a special in the spring of 2014.

Xzotika's Southern Tigress @ Zmaray win BOW at a show in Arcadia, FL under judge Denny Mounce.  Congratulations to Miss Alexis and her daddy Ray Sylvia.

Group 3

Xzotika's Rik-O-Shay wins BOB from the classes over top 10 specials competition and goes on to secure a  Group 3 placement with 77 dogs defeated under judge Mr. Randy Garren.  Shay now has 14 points towards his AM CH title.  Only one more point and he will be a bonafide AM CH.  Huge congrats to his owner Mikki & Jim Razor and his handler Mr. David Osuna of Andros Afghan Hounds.

Our Prayers have been answered. Another New CH

Buster wins BOB again and Sashay, Xzotika's Say a little prayer wins BOS under judge Mrs. Edna Katie Gammill.  Sashay is now a new AM CH.  Mrs. Gammill expressed how pleased she was with the dogs and that it was nice to judge standard sized functional hounds.  Mrs. Gammill comes from horses and gave a short lecture on structure using Buster as her example.  It's wonderful when you have a judge that understands structure so well and rewards the dogs.  Mrs. Gammill has our deepest appreciation for giving our dogs "the nod" of approval.

 

Double Trouble

What a day!  Judge, Mrs. Murrel Purkhiser loved our littermates awarding Sashay BOS and Buster BOB.  Mrs. Purkhiser loved the movement on Buster and thought that he was very nice considering that he is not yet mature.

Buster wins BOB again.  This time under respected judge Mrs. Monica  Canestrini.  It won't be long now and our boy will be a new AM CH.  You can't help but love Mr. Buster.  His movement is textbook and effortless.  We are very thankful that Mrs. Canestrini fell in love with our Smooth Kriminal  :-)

Our Buster, Xzotika's Smooth Kriminal wins the breed over specials competition from the classes under judge Lisa Warren.  Mrs. Warren stated that there was just something "extra" afghan about him that she just fell in love with.

Coastwind meets Xzotika

                                                       Our beautiful Norwegian princess Isis has been bred to AM CH Coastwind Bowman.  We feel very privileged that one of our home bred bitches is being bred to a True Coastwind dog.  We are very excited to see what will be produced in this nostalgic litter.  Something great is on the horizon.  I'm sure of it  :-)
