Jackson's son, Buster, Xzotika's Smooth Kriminal wins BOSweeps this weekend in CT. This is just Buster's second time in the show ring and he is getting better and better. Congratulations to his beautiful co-owner Dawn Rivenburgh. This is her first afghan hound and she is doing great so far. Thank you Dawn for taking such good care of our special boy. You guys looked great together in the ring. Also thanks to judge Phil Schafmayer for finding Buster in the ring.

Our Norwegian ambassador, Isis, Xzotika's Send Me an Angel won Best Afghan Puppy and secured second place in the best puppy in show ring. Congratulations to Isis and Ingunn on a job well done. Isis is living up to our expectations at only six months of age. We are expecting great things out of her in the years to come.

International Debut

Xzotika's Send me an Angel aka Isis made her International debut in Sweden at the My Dog Annual dog show. Isis, just a little over 6 months of age won Best Afghan Puppy on both of the days that she showed. We have received many wonderful comments about her performance and how wonderful it was to see such a primitive, authentic type of afghan reminiscent of the original imports from the 1930's. We are very excited about this bitches future and wholeheartedly thank her co-owner Inngun for taking such good care of her and believing in the pedigree. Isis is out of CH Xzotika's Man in the Mirror X CH Aries Jolie Blonde. She is line bred on the Aries, Jubilan, Coastwind side of our pedigree.

Three's a charm

Before Tanzi or Tyra had their puppies I dreamed that Tyra had three puppies and one was a pretty silver blue brindle boy. Well I had my bitches mixed up and Tanzi, Xzotika's Shades of Grace was the one that had the litter of three. Two boys and One girl in colors of cream, black and silver blue brindle. Tanzi's puppies were born on Dec. 27th. So far the puppies look incredible. Nice and fat and healthy. These pups are also out of our wonder dog Raven, CH Xzotika's Nevermore. Hopefully Mr. Raven is strong for his star power in the ring. He finished his title in less than a month at ten months of age. Stay tuned for 8 week old photo's.

Tyra, CH Xzotika Sabbath House Supermodel had two puppies today. One girl, one boy. Both puppies are doing great and are some shade of blue perhaps. We'll have to wait and see what color they really are over the next couple of days. Tyra's husband for this litter is our very own Raven, CH Xzotika's Nevermore. We are looking forward to watching these puppies develop. Thank you everyone for all the well wishes we have gotten. I'm sure they will turn out fabulous.

At the Louisville, KY cluster this year our 10 month old puppy Jackson won another 4pt major reserve under judge Mrs. Margaretta Patterson-Kauffman. Jackson was handled by his co-breeder Jennifer Taylor of Jolie Afghan Hounds. Little Jackson is having a great time at the shows and the judges are noticing him at this very early age. In addition to the judges, the ringside crowd is giving him a good look and the buzz is in the air. A recent bystander stated that Jackson reminded them of a young Coastwind Phobos. Oh what fun it was! It was so nice to see all of Naomi's babies in one place. Five of her kids were at the show but only 3 of them were shown. They have all grown into lovely yearlings. We are very excited and glad that we used AM CH Winsong Hollywood Park as Naomi's first sire. The entire weekend wasn't a bust. Our little Jackson at his second show takes a 4pt major reserve under respected judge Ms. Elizabeth Muthard.
